Taste Project Launches New Fall Menu, and Invites North Texas to Gather Around the Table

FORT WORTH & ARLINGTON, TEXAS (September 2, 2026) – Taste Project is welcoming the fall season with the launch of its new Fall Menu, a celebration of community through food, and an invitation for North Texans to join in ensuring everyone has access to healthy, nutritious meals.

As economic pressures continue to impact families across Tarrant County, the need for dignified access to nourishing food continues to grow in both Fort Worth and Arlington. At Taste Community Restaurants, every meal served is more than a meal. It is an opportunity for connection, belonging, and hope.

Taste Project operates two pay-what-you-can restaurants where guests are invited to pay what you can afford, pay what you would typically pay, or pay a little extra to support a neighbor in need. While guest contributions make a meaningful impact, approximately 60% of the cost of every meal requires outside funding, most of which is provided by generous individuals who believe everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious food served with dignity.

This fall, guests can enjoy chef-prepared seasonal dishes inspired by the flavors of the season, featuring fresh ingredients and comforting favorites designed to nourish both body and soul.

But Taste Project's impact extends beyond the plate…

“Guests come for the food and stay for the community,” says Chef Jeff Williams, Founder and CEO of Taste Project. “While we meet basic needs, we hope it’s done in a way that helps someone see themselves differently, see their community differently, and hopefully see God differently.”

Every day, Taste Community Restaurants bring together neighbors who might otherwise never cross paths. Around shared tables, conversations begin, friendships develop, and barriers are broken down. By creating spaces where everyone belongs, Taste Project demonstrates that addressing hunger is about more than providing meals. It is about cultivating community.
