At Taste Project, our programs are centered around Taste Community Restaurant, a full-service restaurant where everyone is welcome regardless of financial means. Those in need and those wanting to help all dine together.

Bridging The Gap

One in seven Americans face the harsh reality of uncertainty when it comes to putting food on their tables. While there are programs aimed at alleviating this struggle, they leave a gap in support. Astonishingly, 40% of our food-insecure neighbors here in Tarrant County live above the poverty line, and they do not receive any government assistance.

These individuals are not strangers to hard work, but they have been dealt tough hands such as job loss, mounting medical bills, and chronic illnesses. These challenges force them into the difficult position of having to make choices between paying for healthy, nutritious meals and meeting other pressing needs.

Equipping the Community to Address Food Insecurity

At Taste Project, we believe that everyone should have access to healthy, nutritious food. Our journey was inspired by the firsthand experience of our founder, Jeff Williams, who understands the challenges of food insecurity. Our mission revolves around feeding, educating, and serving our community.

When you visit our restaurants or donate online, you become the bridge that fills the gaps left by government programs. You allow us to provide our community with healthy and nutritious food, all served with love and dignity.

Taste and See For Yourself

We extend a warm invitation for you to be a part of our mission. Whether you choose to dine at our restaurant, generously donate online, or dedicate your time as a volunteer, you can partner with us.

Remarkably, 80% of our dedicated staff comprises volunteers. It is through your support that we can continue to meet the needs of our community with love and dignity!
