Host your own event at Taste Community Restaurant! Private events provide additional work experience for our Culinary Apprentices while also raising funds to support our pay-what-you-can meal services.
Nestled in the Near Southside, Taste Community Restaurant is ideal for rehearsal dinners, nonprofit events, corporate events, and holiday parties. Our event space accommodates groups of 25-75 people.

Private Dining Room
Looking for a comfortable, private space for your next meeting or celebration? Here’s everything you need to know before booking our private dining room at Taste Community Restaurant in Arlington:
How many guests can it seat?
Up to 32 guests, with flexible layouts for business meetings, trainings, or intimate celebrations.
What’s included?
Built-in AV system, a fixed-price menu with seasonal favorites from our lunch and brunch menus, Chef’s choice cookies, and dedicated service—all in a welcoming, private space.
How does pricing work?
Private dining is offered at a fixed price of $35 per guest, plus gratuity, and includes a selection of our seasonal favorite entrees, beverages, and dessert. Proceeds help support Taste Project’s mission to feed, educate, and serve our neighbors.
When can I book?
Our private dining room is available during our lunch and brunch services Wednesday – Saturday. Because availability is limited and the room books quickly—especially during the lunch hour—we recommend booking early to secure your preferred date. Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

Chef’s Table
Enjoy a private dinner for 10 at Taste Community Restaurant. You and your guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner featuring culinary creations from Chef Jeff, Chef Danielle, and our Sous Chef Apprentices. Every dish tells a story, and each story will take you on a culinary journey!

Japanese Tuna Tataki
Sashimi grade ahi tuna seared and garnished with ponzu soy vinaigrette, scallions, sesame sticks, and chili threads.
Chinese Soup Dumplings
Dumpling filled with ground pork, ginger, garlic, aromatics and rich broth, steamed and served with chili garlic oil and soy.
Vietnamese Summer Roll Salad
Little gem lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, vermicelli rice noodles, and scallions tossed in a peanut and soy dressing and topped with mint. cilantro, crushed peanuts, fried rice noodles and finished with succulent poached shrimp.
Korean Ribeye Bulgogi
Ribeye steak marinated in Korean spices and grilled, served with kimchi fried rice, a quail egg, scallions and fresh herbs.
Thai Mango Coconut Panna Cotta
Pandan, coconut and glutinous rice infused panna cotta, topped with mango jam, puffed rice, coconut and palm sugar tuile, macerated mango, and mango pop rocks.
