TASTE PROJECT ADDS NEW BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF AS IT PREPARES TO GROW

Taste Project announces today the addition of three new members to its board of directors: Greg Nelson, Bonnie Wilson, and Bill Chubb.  These three individuals have played a huge role in the organization’s commitment to be open for good.

During its COVID Response, Taste Project has served over 8,000 people and continues to feed, educate and serve the growing needs of its community so they may “…taste and see the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).

In addition, Harrison Gibson has been promoted to Project Manager, Guest Experience.  His unwavering support of our community before and during this pandemic exemplify the organization’s belief that everyone should have access to healthy and nutritious food.

Harrison Gibson | Project Manager, Guest Experience

Jacqueline Wronko | Project Manager, Volunteer Experience

He joins Jacqueline Wronko, our new Project Manager, Volunteer Experience who began just before the COVID-19 pandemic.  Jacqueline has been key in executing the organization’s vision to see its community become the response and the solution to the challenges its community faces as it relates to hunger.  She is responsible for engaging volunteers and helping to ensure they have a positive and safe experience.

“Each of these individuals have stepped in to help me execute the dream and vision God has given me.  I am truly grateful for their support and commitment to our community,” says Jeff Williams, Founder and Executive Director.  “I know God has more in store for Taste Project, and this team is well positioned to carry out what the Lord has planned.”

“We are also grateful for the support from former board members Linda Holtzclawe, Timothy Watts, and Johnny Williams who were instrumental in the launch of Taste Project and the organization’s first project: Taste Community Restaurant,” says Brian Wronko, Board Vice President.

The Taste Community Restaurant project is only the beginning of Taste Project.  These new board and staff additions provide room to grow and thrive.  And, as a part of the organization’s plan for growth, Jeff Williams will embark on a 30 day sabbatical.  Elizabeth McCarthy will step in as interim Executive Director supported by Brad and Libby Birky, Founders of SAME Café in Denver, Colorado.

“This is an important time for our organization,” says Elizabeth McCarthy, Interim Executive Director.  “This team is fully committed to be open for good, but we are also open to seeking what else the Lord has for this community.”
