Taste Project Launches New Spring Menu While Inviting the Community to Double Their Impact in March
Taste Project, the nonprofit behind Taste Community Restaurants, is welcoming the season of renewal with the launch of its brand-new Spring Menu, featuring vibrant, seasonal ingredients—and inviting the community to double their impact during Matching March, the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.
Inspired by the flavors and produce of spring, the new menu celebrates freshness, color, and comfort with standout dishes such as Strawberry Toast, Spring Hash, Spring Roll Salad, Potato Leek Soup, Cauliflower Tacos, the Merguez Smash Burger, and Coho Salmon. Each dish is chef-prepared using thoughtful ingredients and crafted to nourish both body and soul.
“Our Spring Menu reflects what this season is all about—fresh starts, bright flavors, and shared abundance,” said Jeff Williams, Founder of Taste Project. “At the same time, Matching March gives our community a powerful opportunity to come together and multiply their generosity. Every meal and every donation this month goes twice as far.”
Matching March: Double the ImpacT
Throughout the month of March, guests who dine at Taste Community Restaurants are invited to participate in Matching March, where donations are matched dollar-for-dollar (up to $1,500 each match day) by a generous team of matching donors. This means every contribution—whether made at the table or online—has double the impact in helping Taste Project provide healthy, dignified meals to neighbors facing food insecurity.
At Taste Project, everyone is welcome, regardless of their ability to pay for a meal. The organization’s pay-what-you-can model allows guests facing food insecurity to enjoy a dignified dining experience while inviting others to give back—creating a space where the community truly comes together.
With locations in Fort Worth and Arlington, Taste Project continues to grow its impact across Tarrant County, one meal at a time.

You can join Taste Project on its journey to provide healthy, nutritious food this season when you dine, do, and donate…
DINE
Our menu is a mix of healthy and hearty meals to accommodate the foodies in the neighborhood while also remembering this may be the only meal some of our guests eat all day.
DO (VOLUNTEER)
80% of our staff are volunteers. From greeters to line cooks and everyone in between, together, we can meet the needs of our community with love and dignity!
DONATE
Your support helps bridge the gap between restaurant donations and operating costs, ensuring we can purchase quality ingredients and pay our staff a living wage. During March, every dollar donated is matched $1-for-$1.

About Taste Project
Taste Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit established to feed, educate, and serve our community so they may “…taste and see the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8. We believe everyone should have access to healthy nutritious food. Our vision is to see our community become the solution to the challenges our community faces as it relates to hunger. Our first project, Taste Community Restaurant at 1200 South Main Street in Fort Worth, focuses on healthy, quality meals made from fresh ingredients. Our menu has no prices. This is a give-and-take concept. We ask guests to do one of the following: 1) pay what you can afford, 2) pay what you would typically pay, or 3) pay what you would typically pay, plus a little extra. In March 2025, Taste Project opened its second Taste Community Restaurant location at 200 North Cooper Street in Arlington.
