Join Arlington's own Chef Preston Nguyen, Martin High School graduate, two-time World Chef Champion, and featured competitor on Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef (Season 2), for an unforgettable evening of exceptional cuisine as part of Taste Project's Celebrity Chef Dinner & Fundraiser Series.
Chef Preston will showcase his award-winning culinary talents through a specially curated multi-course dining experience, created exclusively for this event.
As the need for our services continues to grow, Taste Project is serving more neighbors than ever before through our pay-what-you-can community restaurants. Proceeds from this special fundraising dinner help ensure that everyone has access to a nutritious meal, regardless of their ability to pay.
The Celebrity Chef Dinner Series features unique chef-crafted menus generously donated by some of North Texas' most talented culinary professionals, with all proceeds benefiting Taste Project and Taste Community Restaurants.

About Chef Preston Nguyen
Chef Preston Nguyen has quickly become one of the most exciting young culinary talents in Texas. A native of Arlington, Preston first gained national recognition when he won the World Chef Championship in 2021 at just 18 years old, competing against thousands of chefs at the World Food Championships. He later captured the coveted World Food Champion title, becoming the youngest competitor ever to earn the honor.
Preston's passion for cooking began during high school and was cultivated through Arlington ISD's culinary program at the Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center and professional kitchen experience at Prince Lebanese Grill. Since then, he has continued to refine his craft through culinary school, restaurant experience, and training alongside some of the world's most respected chefs.
Tasting Chef Preston Nguyen's cuisine is an experience that reflects both innovation and heritage. Drawing inspiration from his Vietnamese roots, Texas upbringing, and global culinary influences, he creates dishes that honor traditional flavors while showcasing modern techniques and artistic presentation. His food is thoughtful, creative, and designed to tell a story with every bite.
In addition to his competitive success, Preston has appeared on Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef, where his talent earned praise from Chef Ramsay and introduced his culinary skills to a national audience. He has also appeared on Beat Bobby Flay and participated in major culinary events around the world, further establishing himself as a rising star in the food industry.
