We have officially served 30,000 meals at Taste Community Restaurant. To celebrate, we are partnering with local celebrities and notables to encourage all Fort Worth and surrounding area residents to become an active participant in building their community.
Throughout the month of March, we will host celebrity servers at Taste Community Restaurant. On Saturday, March 23rd, we are partnering with our Fort Worth City Council Leaders represented by Councilman Carlos E. Flores (District 2), Councilman Brian Byrd (District 3), Councilman Jungus Jordan (District 6), Councilman Denis Shingleton (District 7), Councilwoman Kelly Allen Gray (District 8), Councilwoman Ann Zadeh (District 9), District Director Katherine Smith (District 9), and District Director Tara Holt (District 6). And Mayor Betsy Price is planning to join us as a guest for lunch!
City Councilwoman Ann Zadeh has represented District 9 since 2014. As a resident of Fort Worth for over 25 years, Ann is a passionate supporter of neighborhoods across the district. She has a strong record of public service at the neighborhood and local government level. Ann Zadeh has supported Taste Project and Taste Community Restaurant even before we opened our doors, and now she is encouraging all of our City Council leaders to get involved at Taste Community Restaurant.
Join us, and many of our Fort Worth City Council leaders as they volunteer and serve lunch to our community at Taste Community Restaurant.
Reservations are not required, but encouraged.
And, thanks to a team of Matching Funders, we are thrilled to announce a 1-for-1 matching donation on select days in March. All donations will be matched up to $1,000 in total on each selected day. To find out how you can become a Matching Funder and match a special day in March, click here.
